We collect nothing.

MoneyTracker has no account, no server and no analytics. What you record stays on your iPhone.

The short version

We do not collect, store, sell or share any of your data.
There is no sign-in and no MoneyTracker account.
The app makes no network requests of its own. There are no analytics, ads, crash-reporting or tracking tools in it.
Your entries, budgets and captured messages live only on your iPhone.

Where your data lives

Everything you record is kept in a database on your iPhone, inside storage that only MoneyTracker and its own widget and extensions can open. It is not synced to any server we run. If your iPhone is backed up by Apple (iCloud or your computer), that backup is handled by Apple under your Apple settings.

Bank messages

iPhone does not let apps read your messages. A message reaches MoneyTracker only if you set up your own Shortcuts automation to pass it on. The text is read on your iPhone to find the amount, payee and account, and kept there so you can review it. It is never sent to us or anyone else.

Paying with UPI

MoneyTracker never handles your money and never sees your UPI PIN. When you tap & Pay, it opens the UPI app you choose (such as Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm). You scan the QR code and pay inside that app, under that app’s own privacy policy. To show only the UPI apps you have, MoneyTracker checks on your iPhone which ones are installed. That check never leaves your phone.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time unlock are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment. We receive no card, bank or payment details, and no personal information about you from the purchase.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the app schedules a reminder on your iPhone. These are local notifications. Nothing is sent through a server.

Backups, exports and diagnostic reports

Backup and CSV export files are created only when you ask, and saved only where you choose, such as Files or iCloud Drive. A diagnostic report is shared only if you tap Share and send it yourself. It never contains message text, notes, amounts, payee addresses or PINs.

Deleting your data

Delete the MoneyTracker app and its data on your iPhone is removed. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete. Files you saved elsewhere stay there until you delete them.

Children

MoneyTracker is not directed at children, and we collect no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, we will say so here and in the App Store before it does.
